Breaking the M O L D.

Breaking the M O L D.

Private Equity has been an "old boys club" for decades.

The alternative investment asset class carries the reputation of being reserved for Ultra-High Net Worth individuals, Family Offices, or institutional investors like banks.

Kelly Ann Winget founded Alternative Wealth Partners to change the narrative.

Kelly Ann steps into rooms often devoid of young women, offering fresh insights, innovative strategies, and exclusive access to off-market opportunities. She leverages her expertise to break down barriers, championing a more inclusive and transparent approach to investing.

AWP is rewriting the playbook for private equity—delivering high-impact opportunities to everyday millionaires.

Kelly Ann Winget

Kelly Ann Winget is the Founder and CEO of Alternative Wealth Partners, the first solo-founded, millennial, female-led private equity firm in the US. She comes from five generations in oil and gas and was raised by entrepreneurs.

Her early career path was unconventional, but over the last 20 years, she has helped raise nearly $1 billion in private capital across 250+ deals, spanning energy, manufacturing, real estate, venture, and emerging markets. She has worked inside companies that scaled from $0 to $100M, built teams from scratch, and developed a reputation for strategic dealmaking, creative structuring, and contrarian insight.

Kelly founded AWP to serve investors who are ready to think differently—those who want to preserve wealth, build legacy, and participate in the real economy with purpose.
